Look after our Troops Please!
Too many troops these days end up in care homes that leave them to fend for themselves in a corner and not bother with their care even though they’re getting so well paid for it. Troops that have fought hard and tough for their country.
Do we really want to see these guys fade away in a corner ? I think not.
An Ex Pat recently told me about his Dad who fought in Vietnam years previous had become sick and had to be hospitalized. Afterwards he had an option to take up 2 weeks in a care home. Now thankfully I’ve never had to go searching for a care home for anyone , but they told me its no easy feat.
They found a care home using bettercaring.com . An excellent service that lets you get a breakdown of all the care homes by locations , price and lots more. They also have a forum which lets you discuss the pros and cons of the care home you might actually find , therefore knowing from a 3rd party that your loved one will be taken care of!
