my friend called over with his wife and kid last night. I was getting them some drinks and the kid came out to help me. He was very taken with my refrigerator water filter! He wouldn’t stop playing with it. Im thinking of weight loss surgery and it nearly is gonna make me broke. I’m not used to having kids around and couldn’t wait for my visitors to leave. Think I’ll call to their house next time.

I don’t know if it’s the age that we’re at or what but a few of us were talking about dying recently and funeral planning and the likes. I don’t want my funeral to be a sad sombre affair but more a celebration of my life. I want happy songs and for people to party. One of the guys said he plans to outlive me just so he can fulfil my wishes and party hard.

I’m not a very lucky person, most of the time. Like, I’ve never won anything big so can you imagine how surprised I was today to find out that I’ve just won a Samsung HDTV ? I’m still in shock. I bought a ticket at work because they were raising money for a good cause. I never thought anything more of it until I got the call. Sweet!

I took some great shots of the family this Christmas and I already know what they’ll be getting for birthday presents this year! I’m going to get some really nice photo mounts and frame the pictures. And I’ll be redecorating my walls with some new wall art too. Cheap and cheerful in these recessional times and my pictures paint a thousand words and don’t cost the earth.But if you see the likes of Aunty May in the pics youll go out and shop for some weight loss diet products , cause she looks like she needs it!

I have three dogs now and 4 cats. One of my dogs is called Plasma. Unusual name I know. One of the cats has a bit of a soft spot for Plasma and he for her. So much so that when I walked in the other day, I got such a shock. Imagine this – me walking in just as plasma mounts the cat. I freaked. Felt like I’d walked in on my parents. It was awful. I’m thinking of bringing it up in therapy.Now i have so many wrinkles that im googling for the best wrinkle remover i can find , i cant be old before my time.!

When a guy asks a girl to marry him does she think I wonder if I’m getting certified diamonds? I doubt it very much. I can’t believe the thought process of a guy buying his girl a ring. He’ll find out the cut, the clarity, the colour etc and all she’ll be thinking of is I wonder how much this baby cost? Or did he keep the receipt so I can change it? Or what was he thinking? At the very least I hope she’s thinking yes! Then when they get married - she will need to be on lots of weight loss products cause thats what always happens to new wives! Only kidding!

My tv stands in the corner of the room, looking rather lonely because I don’t have much else in the room. I like the minimalist look but fear I have taken this to the extreme. The only other things in the room are me, the chair I’m sitting on, the crate I have my feet on and the laptop that sits on my lap. Working out is something i havent done in a long time and would love to get into muscle builder execrises - Here i am complaining!I might buy a plant tomorrow. Or a lamp. But then I’d need a table to put them on. Too much.

What is it with schools these days? Have you felt the weight of a young school goers back pack? I picked up my nephews bag earlier and couldn’t get over how heavy it was. Why can’t they leave textbooks at school and have other resources for home study? I thought this was the age of computers? I know that we did ok without computers but we also did ok without as many heavy books.As they grow older they will need the best acne treatments so that the girls wont laugh and them at school but or now they can carry thier rucksacks!

New year means new me. Every new years I make the same new years resolution – to get fit and healthy. The weather has hampered me so far this year and I don’t like going to the gym. So, I’ve decided to bring the gym to me. Earlier today I made a pretty substantial purchase and got me a treadmill. Now I just need to motivate myself and use it.
